Pilkington OptiShower™ is a specially designed clear float glass with a durable, on-line coating that helps prevent surface corrosion in moisture-rich and humid environments, such as showers and bathrooms.

Pilkington OptiShower™ can also be treated by shower enclosure manufacturers to improve water repellency, making it easier to clean by helping water slide off more efficiently. This glass resists oxidation, allowing these additional treatments to bond better and last longer. Even if the water-repellent treatment wears off, Pilkington OptiShower™ continues to protect against corrosion, ensuring long-lasting transparency and performance.

Pilkington Endurance™ – overview:

For environments with extreme humidity, Pilkington Endurance™ offers an advanced solution. Its anti-corrosion coating is permanently bonded to the glass, ensuring long-lasting clarity and resistance to dulling, even in the harshest conditions. Long-term testing has proven its superior performance in environments like tropical greenhouses, aquariums, showers, and saunas, making it an ideal choice for high-humidity applications.
